Will bankruptcy remove a lien?

Our Professional Answer:

Bankruptcy does not typically remove a lien, unless that lien has been recently filed. Typically, within 90 days of the bankruptcy filing itself. In which case, we will have to file what is called a strict motion to remove that lien from your property. Other than that, the lien remains in place against that property.
